The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, comprised of over 16,000 professional women of color in 292 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations and is committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

The Links, Incorporated has a long tradition of engaging in educational, civic and inter-cultural activities in communities we serve.  Our core values are friendship, integrity, honesty, service, commitment, family relationships, courage, respect for self and others, legacy, confidentiality, responsibility, and accountability.

Our Chapter


The Fairfield County (CT) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has served Fairfield County since 1976. The chapter is comprised of 47 accomplished professional women, bonded in friendship and committed to service.


Service rendered to the community adheres to the five facets of The Links, Incorporated; Services to Youth, National Trends and Services, The Arts, International Trends and Services and Health and Human Services.

Our Foundation

The Greater Fairfield County Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity that serves as the philanthropic arm of The Fairfield County Chapter of the Links, Incorporated.

The Foundation operates exclusively for charitable purposes, and engages in fundraising activities that support the community, educational, health, civic and social action programs of the Fairfield County Links.

The Foundation is committed to improving the lives of families and children in our community through its major grants program and annual scholarships program.
