The Greater Fairfield County Foundation, Inc., the philanthropic arm of the Fairfield County, Connecticut, Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, annually rewards graduating high school seniors for their hard work and accomplishments by providing scholarships to students who face significant financial obstacles in their path toward a college education.

Be a Class of 2026 student residing in or attending high school in Fairfield County
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Plan to attend a 4-year college, community college, or technical school
Application Materials: Essay, Two (2) Letters of Recommendations, Transcript, Score Reports, Applicant Photo
The Greater Fairfield County Foundation, Inc. is excited to announce our Scholarship for International Studies. The scholarship is a $2,500 award for students pursuing study or service at an international university or program, while completing their 4-year college/university degree or attending a community college or technical school. The award funds can cover tuition, supplies, travel, and lodging expenses, as well as experiential learning activities while studying abroad.
Eligibility:
• Student is enrolled in an accredited study abroad program.
• Student is currently matriculating in a 4-year college/ university or attending a community college or technical school.
• Students who previously applied to the Greater Fairfield County Foundation Incorporated’s Scholarship.
Now Accepting Applications for the 2026 Scholarship for International Studies.

If you are interested in donating to our annual scholarship fund to help offset the cost of college tuition, enabling hardworking students to pursue a high-quality education in an academically competitive, values-oriented setting, please consider giving to our foundation. The Greater Fairfield County Foundation is a philanthropic, nonprofit, 501c3 organization. Donors can choose to donate year round toward our scholarship fund or to sponsor a student for $4,000 per year. Sponsors will receive periodic updates on their students.
